WHEN:

Cod and Haddock fishing trips are available from April 15 through July 1.

Tuna trips are available from June 15 to July 1st for filming and will resume from September 15 through the end of November.

Angelica Fisheries is located at 63 Rodgers Street, Gloucester  MA. 01930.

Right behind the iconic Gloucester House Restaurant. All trips will depart from this location. Public parking is available adjacent to the restaurant.

HADDOCK/GROUNDFISH CHARTERS WITH CAPTAIN DAVE MARCIANO

• 9 Hours (Full Day)
• April 15th - July 1st
• $1600 + Gratuity
• Time: 6 am – 3 pm
• 4 persons maximum

• 4 Hour Half Days 
• April 15th - July 1st
• $800 + Gratuity
• Morning Trip 6 am to 10 pm 
• Afternoon Trip 12 pm to 4 pm
• 4 persons maximum

A typical catch can vary greatly with each charter. Each day’s catch varies with the effort of each group, fishing conditions, and the number of cod and haddock in the area for that day.

All Haddock fishing charters are 9 hours (full day) or 4 hours half day. Travel times are always short from the port of Gloucester with times averaging between .5 to 1.5 hours to any of the many rich fishing grounds listed above. 

If you think you may get seasick you can contact your doctor and ask them to prescribe you a seasick patch which you stick behind your ear, and it is the best thing out there for seasickness.

We will monitor the weather closely and if we have to cancel your trip we will know ahead of departure and do our very best to give you as much notice as possible. 

Please bring enough snacks, food, and beverages for the day. 

Things happen! If you need to cancel, please try and give us 14 days' notice. We will do our best to reschedule you or cancel completely.

What to bring… waterproof shoes/boots. LAYERS, coat, hat, WATER, children under 12 need to bring a Type 1 USCG Approved Child Life Jacket. We have all the safety gear for adults.

Tip the mate like you do your bartender! 20% is customary at the end of the charter (cash)

12-HOUR BLUEFIN TUNA CHARTERS WITH CAPTAIN DAVE MARCIANO

• September 15th - November 30th

• 12 Hours

• $2100 + Gratuity

• Time: 3 am – 3 pm

• 4 persons maximum

All Bluefin Tuna charters are 12 hours. Travel times are always short from the port of Gloucester.

On Tuna trips, the laws do not allow the clients to keep the fish. That is governed by federal laws and only a permitted fishing vessel is allowed to keep a tuna. If a giant is landed, clients will receive $100 - $500 coupon off a future trip. If we land a short, under the recreational rules, pending quota restrictions, that one can be cut up and taken home.

Everything except food and beverage. Captain Marciano will include ice, bait, rods, and reels — but you’re welcome to bring your own gear.

Customers are welcome to bring beer or wine. Hard Liquor is strictly prohibited. Drugs are strictly prohibited.

NOTE ABOUT REFUNDS:

Your deposit is completely refundable until 14 days prior to the Charter Date. After 14 days prior, it is NON-REFUNDABLE, subject to circumstances.

If the weather is bad, the charter will be rescheduled. If not able to reschedule the Captain will offer a refund less processing fees.

IS THERE A BATHROOM?

Yes, on a boat they are called a head.

IS THERE PARKING?

No, there is no WIFI on the boat.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

Suggestions – sweatshirt, rain gear, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, camera, food, beverage, and a cooler. Ice is available aboard if needed.

HOW MANY PASSENGERS ARE ALLOWED?

6 Passengers are allowed by law per boat. This is regulated by the US Coast Guard.

WHAT DO I WEAR?

Dress in layers. It can get cold and/or wet. And then hot and/or dry.

WHAT ABOUT FOOD?

Bring your own food and beverages. Beer and Wine are welcome but no hard liquor as per insurance requirements. You may bring a cooler if you would like to keep items chilled. We do not supply any food or beverage.

DRUG POLICY:

All drugs are prohibited – including marijuana. Any state laws are not applicable as the ocean is under federal jurisdiction.

DO I NEED A SALTWATER FISHING LICENSE?

No, you are covered under my charter boat’s fishing license.

WHAT DO I GET TO KEEP?

On haddock trips, clients keep all they catch pending catch limits and size restrictions. Filleting and bagging are included. You may also bring a cooler to take home your catch. If you don’t have a cooler though, don’t worry – we can keep the fish on ice until the end of the trip for you.

If bad weather forces a cancellation (Captain's decision made at the dock) deposit will be applied to another day. If another day can’t be scheduled this season, the deposit will be applied to the next season. 

Should poor weather develop, the full-day offshore sportfishing charter may be downgraded to full-day inshore, full-day inshore will be downgraded to half-day inshore, etc…
